The Coffs Harbour Education Campus - English Language Centre

The Coffs Harbour Education Campus English Language Centre is a joint venture between the Institute, Southern Cross University and the Senior High School. The Centre now provides for an average of around 40 full time students throughout the year. Holiday and study tour programs are also provided to groups from Japan, China, Korea and Germany.

Due to the success of the relationships established by the Centre with international colleges and tour operators, Holiday programs are now being referred to other campuses in the Institute.

IEA College of TAFE - Port Moresby

International Education Agency, PNG and the Institute have established a strong relationship that has led to the Institute establishing the IEA College of TAFE in Port Moresby. This college offers TAFE NSW courses on a commercial basis in Office Administration, Information Technology and Children’s Services. Students are enrolled with the Institute and receive TAFE NSW qualifications on completion.

The relationship between IEA and the Institute was cemented with the success of the partners in winning two AusAID-funded tenders for the provision of vocational education programs in Papua New Guinea. These programs also involved the PNG Institute of Builders and Tanorama.

Tohoku Foreign Language College

Tohoku Foreign Language College of Sendai, Japan, has signed a Friendship Agreement with the Institute, that will see approximately 250 Japanese students arrive in Port Macquarie at the end of the year, for a three week English Language Summer Camp.

The Institute is currently finalising an agreement with the Japan College of Foreign Languages of Tokyo, Japan, for a group of Japanese students to undertake a one semester Marine Studies course at the Coffs Harbour Education Campus and a one semester Sports Fitness course at Port Macquarie Campus.
