This course provides you with a practical introduction to the visual arts. You gain experience across a range of visual arts areas as a basis for further studies. The course may provide you with a start to a career as an artist or assist you in work within an area of the visual arts or in related community arts or crafts areas. You learn about creating images, objects and forms in a range of visual arts areas under the direction of artist teachers.

Career Opportunities: Provides initial training for a career as an artist.

Articulation: When you finish this course you may be eligible to do a CUV30103 Certificate III in Visual Arts and Contemporary Crafts or 90961NSW Certificate III in Fine Arts .

Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements for entry to this course.
