Alternative Photographic Processes

This course allows the exploration of processes used by Historical and Modern Art photographers - combining contemporary practices with historical processes.
Most of the processes used do not even need a darkroom, only the sun! Learn exciting alternatives to traditional methods, allowing endless possibilities in the development of your creative endeavours.
Some of the processes will include: cyanotypes, van dykes, salt prints, gum bichromates and liquid light.
Entry requirements: Students will need to have completed at least Certificate II or Certificate IV in Photography or demonstrate competency in black and white processing, printing and O H & S.
