This course is for people who want to manage sound for music events, the screen and new media. You will learn how to plan and manage the technical production for music recordings, develop sound design from a brief, implement sound design for television and live theatre and produce a final audio master for a musical recording. You can also choose to develop a range of performance and/or music business skills.

Career Opportunities: Technical producer, sound designer and soundtrack producer.

Articulation: When you finish this course you can continue on to further and related studies at university.

Alternative Exit points: Depending on the modules studied you may be eligible to exit with a CUS50201 Diploma of Music Industry (Technical Production). Additional charges apply.

Entry Requirements: CUS40201 Certificate IV in Music Industry (Technical Production) or equivalent.
