Statement of Attainment in Creative Fine Arts

This course provides a short, intensive, vocationally specialised program. It gives you specific in-depth training in a creative, studio-based, single discipline area of fine arts. If you intend to become a visual artist, you will increase your studio-based skills and explore your understanding of the area in which you choose to specialise. If you already have basic skills, or have completed a studio-based art course, you will be able to refresh or intensify your creative and reflective abilities. You can choose a program in painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking (a range of multiple processes), art photography, or ceramics. The course caters for people who are currently employed or unable to attend a full-time course.

This course will offered as a TAFE PLUS Commercial course.

Career Opportunities: Artist, artworker, arts/crafts related work or self-employment, or arts/crafts assistant in areas such as painting, drawing, sculpture, art photography, printmaking (intaglio, relief, screenprinting) ceramics.

Entry Requirements: Must have prior practical studio experience in the discipline area selected, have completed the Statement of Attainment in Skills and Practices TAFE NSW Course no 7527 or equivalent and/or submit a portfolio or examples of work.
