This course is for people who want to specialise in ceramics as a visual arts medium. You will learn hand and mouldmaking methods, finishing methods, alternative methods, alternative media and professional arts practices and art theory. You will also learn the use of creative strategies to develop and express your ideas.

Career Opportunities: Artist/ceramic craftsperson, sculptor, technical support assistant in tertiary education, tutor in community campuses, teacher's aide in high schools, arts/crafts related work or self-employment.

Entry Requirements: Completion of the requirements for the award of the NSW HSC or equivalent, and submission of a portfolio; or Completion of a 90346NSW Certificate III in Ceramics or equivalent, and submission of a portfolio.
