Statement of Attainment in Ceramics Handforming Practice

This course is for people with some training in studio-based ceramics. It allows you to specialise in handforming skills. You learn how to use ceramic and non-ceramic materials, processes and equipment safely. You also learn to use creative strategies to develop individual ceramic works and to select and apply surface coatings to achieve specialised visual results on ceramic forms.
This course will offered as a TAFE PLUS Commercial course.
Career Opportunities: Ceramics craftsperson or assistant, arts/crafts related work or self-employment.
Articulation: This course articulates into 90344NSW Certificate IV Ceramics - Studio Production, TAFE course no: 7563.
Entry Requirements: 90346NSW Certificate III in Ceramics, TAFE course no: 7561 or equivalent and submission of a portfolio or examples of work.
