This course is for people who want to acquire the skills needed to work safely and effectively in the laundry operations industry. The course allows you to combine on-the-job with off-the-job training.
The course is made up of core and elective modules. You must complete at least three elective modules to receive the qualification.
Career Opportunities: Laundry operator level 2.
Articulation: When you finish this course you may be eligible to do Certificate III in Laundry Operations (LMT31100), TAFE course no: 7687.
Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements for entry to this course. Direct entry or LMT10800 Certificate I in Laundry Operations, TAFE course no: 7685 or equivalent competencies. Certain modules require access to industry specific plant and equipment. Trainees must be registered as Trainees under the National Apprenticeship System (NAS) or equivalent traineeship system.
