CUS20101 Certificate II in Music Industry (Foundation)

This is an entry-level course for people who want to work in the music industry with a foundation of music industry skills and knowledge. You will develop knowledge of music, listen critically to music, and apply safe practices relevant to the music industry. You will also experience working with others across the performance, production and business areas of the music industry. You can also choose to specialise in a basic range of performance, technical production or music business skills.
Career Opportunities: Road crew member, recording assistant, performer at the local community level.
Articulation: When you finish this course you can continue on to further and related studies at Certificate III level - eg CUS30101 Certificate III in Music TAFE NSW Course no 7815, CUS30301 Certificate III in Music Industry (Business) TAFE NSW Course no 7810 or CUS30201 Certificate III in Music Industry (Technical Production) TAFE NSW Course no 7819.
Entry Requirements: NSW School Certificate (or equivalent, from another educational authority).
