This course is for school leavers, trainees and other people who want to make a career in the health care industry. You will learn about using medical terminology, medical billing, medical records, maintaing stock supplies and applying the principles of confidentiality in a medical environment.
Career Opportunities: doctor's or specialist's receptionist; working in administration in a hospital or other medical facility.
Articulation When you finish this course you are eligible for advanced standing in BSB40101 Certificate IV in Business
or BSB40201 Certificate IV in Business Administration.
Entry Requirements: NSW School certificate (or equivalent statement from another educational authority) or BSB20101 Certificate II in Business or equivalent.
