In order for you to work in real estate, you must be registered with the New South Wales Office of Fair Trading. The Office sets out minimum requirements in order for people to gain this registration: educational standards are but one of these requirements. This course satisfies these minimum educational requirements. It is suggested that you check with the NSW Office of Fair Trading before starting the course to ascertain other requirements for gaining your Certificate of Registration.
It is a course used by many students to gain a foothold in the industry. It covers both sales and property management and any other aligned employment such as support staff.
Articulation: This course provides the minimum requirements to work in real estate. It also provides the student with the first three modules of the full real estate licensing course. These three modules are also contained in the Certificate III, Certificate IV and the Diploma of Property (Real Estate) courses.
Entry Requirements: NSW School Certificate (or equivalent from another educational authority). It should be noted that the minimum age for registration purposes with the NSW Office of Fair Trading is 16 years of age.

Applying and Enrolling: This course is offered on a commercial fee-for-service basis through flexible delivery from Kingscliff Campus with workshops held at each location. Contact Kieran Smyth on 1300 666 182 for more information.
The course is completed by attending 3 x one day workshops and study at home. Intending students need to be enrolled with the Kingscliff Campus no less than two weeks prior to the first workshop. The method (via workshops and home study) and quality of this course has won wide praise from participants since its inception. the format means that the student does more work at home and less work in the classroom.
