This course is for people who want to develop the knowledge and skills to effectively operate in a wide range of business contexts across industry sectors. You can select electives from the areas of customer service, financial administration, general administration, interpersonal communication, marketing, project management, recordkeeping, risk management, relationship management, IT, e-business, among others.
Career Opportunities: Working in a business environment, across a wide variety of industry sectors.
Articulation: When you finish this course you may be eligible to do BSB50207 Diploma of Business or other specialist Diploma qualifications in the Business Services Training Package (BSB07) such as marketing, management or human resources. In addition, depending on units/electives completed in this course, you may be eligible for advanced standing in other courses and other Training Package qualifications.
Entry Requirements: Preferred pathways into this qualification are:
* completion of Certificate III in Business [BSB30107] or other relevant qualification/s
* evidence of competency in the majority of units required for the Certificate III in Business [BSB30107] or other relevant qualification/s
* some vocational experience assisting in a range of environments providing administrative or operational support to individuals and/or teams but without a formal business qualification. As preferred pathways in to the qualification, the Training Package provides an indicative list of job roles as follows;
