This course is for people who want to gain employment as a hairdressing salon assistant or hairdressing receptionist. It will also assist you in gaining employment as a hairdressing apprentice.
The course provides you with an overview of the hairdressing industry. You will also acquire some practical skills in hairdressing.
As part of the course you will be required to complete one week of work in a hairdressing salon.
You must contact the campus before enrolling in this course.
Articulation: When you finish this course you can apply for advanced standing in WRH30100 Certificate III in Hairdressing.
Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements for this course. Although it is not an entry requirement, to complete the course learners must be able to undertake work experience to demonstrate they can apply specified skills in a commercial salon environment.
