This course is for people who work or want to work in marketing in a large organisation. You will learn to evaluate marketing opportunities, establish and adjust the marketing mix, develop a marketing communications plan, implement a marketing solution and review marketing performance.
Career Opportunities:With appropriate work experience, sales representative, sales manager, product manager or marketing manager.
Articulation: When you finish this course you may be eligible to do a variety of Advanced Diploma of Business courses. Some universities will grant credits towards a degree.
Entry Requirements: Satisfactory completion of Year 12 with a minimum of 10 HSC units (or equivalent statement from another educational authority).
Student Selection: Your application will be assessed using the following selection criteria:
1. Demonstrated need and motivation to undertake the course and relevance of the course to career plans and/or personal goals, based on:
1.1 Relevance of the course to career plans or personal goals (15%).
1.2 Knowledge of the relevant industry and relationship of the course to potential employment (15%),
1.3 Further evidence to support the application (10%).
2. Evidence of ability to complete the course, based on:
2.1 Education and training (20%).
2.2 Work experience, paid and/or unpaid (20%).
2.3 Life and community experience (20%).
