This course provides a range of modules that will assist people working with the elderly, grieving, diabetic or those suffering from dementia to provide high quality care to meet the needs of this community group.

5627A Life After Loss
5627B Grief and Trauma Counselling
5627C Working With People with Dementia and Challenging Behaviour
5627D Comms. With Older People With Dementia
5627E Maths and Cognitive Activities
5627F Continence Management and Stoma Care
5627G Caring for a Client With Diabetes
5627H Caring for Clients With Breathing Problems
5627J Wound Observation for AINs and PCAs


Each module may be offered separately with an individual course fee.

* This course is not a nationally recognised training (NRT) qualification

Campuses:

Taree - one option currently available.

Option 1 - Working with People with Dementia and Challenging Behaviour (Module no. 5627C) only.

Applying and Enrolling:

This course will be offered commercially on a fee-for-service basis. Course commencement is subject to sufficient demand.
