This course is for roof plumbing apprentices. You learn how to read roofing plans, and how to cut, shape, fasten and fix materials. You also learn to use tools, and the methods you need to install or repair metal roofs. This course also covers basic first aid, and safe working practices in the workshop, on building sites, and at heights. This course satisfies the educational requirement for registration by the Office of Fair Trading.

Articulation: When you finish this course you may be eligible for advanced standing in BCP30103 Certificate III Plumbing - TradeTAFE NSW Course no 1270 or 14928NSW Certificate IV in Plumbing Technology 8081.
Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements for this course. WorkCover NSW regulations require that learners must have completed an approved General Construction OHS Induction Course before carrying out construction work.

Campuses:
Coffs Harbour - Part-time day, 1 day per week for 3 years.
First year apprentices must attend the orientation session on Tuesday 3 February 2009, 8.30 am - 1.00 pm at Coffs Harbour Campus.
