This is a comprehensive course with an extensive "hands-on" component, using the latest technology and equipment.
The course teaches you about the operation and design of various types of mixing valves and warm water systems used in residential, commercial, industrial, and health care establishments.
Holders of this qualification are permitted to install and service thermostatic mixing valves in health care areas such as hospitals, nursing homes and child care centres.
Key elements of the course are:
* the role of the installer
* the standards governing the manufacture, design and installation of TMVs
* the users of TMVs
* designing systems to incorporate TMVs
* servicing, testing and commissioning TMVs

Entry Requirements: Must be registered or licensed plumber or water plumber in NSW. You also need to have a current copy of AS3500.
