This is a comprehensive course with an extensive "hands-on" component, using the latest technology and equipment.

This course will further develop the skills and knowledge of the qualified tradesperson to enable them to insitu test and maintain backflow prevention devices as required by Water Authorities.

Public health and safety is paramount in regard to drinking water therefore any backlow prevention devices installed and commissioned must be maintained to the highest standard of efficiency.

Key elements of the course are:

* causes of backflow?
* cross connection
* classification of hazards
* backflow prevention

Career Enhancement: This course will add value to the plumber's licence you already hold.

Entry Requirements: Must be registered or licensed plumber or water plumber in NSW.
