This course provides initial assessment for people in building trades such as carpentry and joinery, painting and decorating, bricklaying and concreting who need to get their trade licence. There are no formal educational entry requirements for this course, however you should have at least 4 years' experience in one or more trade areas in the building industry.

At the completion of the assessment you will be advised whether you will need to enrol in further courses to achieve your trade certificate. Additional costs apply to this enrolment.
