This course is for people working in the automotive aftermarket accessory fitting industry who want a career as an accessory fitter and have entered into a training agreement. In this course you will learn how to install automotive mechanical and electrical accessory components to motor vehicles. It is a pathway to a traineeship in the accessory fitting industry.

Articulation: Successful completion of this course will achieve units of competence from the Automotive Retail Service & Repair Training Package (AUR05). This qualification and the units will be recognised in other Certificate III courses such as; AUR30405 Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology - Light Vehicle TAFE NSW Course no 9003, AUR30405 Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology - Heavy Vehicle Road Transport TAFE NSW Course no 5771 and AUR30305 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology TAFE NSW Course no 6996.

Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements for this course. The learner must be employed as a trainee in the relevant trade area to gain sufficient experience to achieve the units of competence requirements.
