In this course you will learn how to service and repair air conditioning systems of motor vehicles. Within the North Coast Institute this course is delivered to automotive tradespeople who need to obtain a Commonwealth Refrigeration handling licence.
Career Opportunities: Successful completion of this course would enable you to be employed as an air conditioning service mechanic in the automotive industry.
Articulation: Successful completion of this course will achieve units of competency from the Automotive Retail Service & Repair Training Package (AUR05). This qualification and the units will be recognised in other Certificate III courses such as: AUR30405 Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology - Light Vehicle, AUR30405 Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology - Heavy Vehicle Road Transport, AUR30305 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical and AUR30405 Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology - Agricultural Mechanical.
