TDM20101 Certificate II in Transport and Distribution (Maritime Operations) - Coxswain course

The Coxswain course is for people who have completed TDM10101 Certficate I in Transport and Distribution (Maritime Operations) or for people with State Maritime Regulatory Authority recognised recreational boating experience.

You will learn to take charge of a commercial vessel of less than 12 metres operating within the limits of sheltered and inshore waters. Evidence of sea time/service on board a vessel will be required to obtain a certificate of competency from the state regulatory authority.

Articulation: When you finish this course you may be able to apply for advanced standing in TDM30101 Certificate III in Transport and Distribution (Maritime Operations), TAFE course no. 8165.
