This course is one of the Tertiary Pathways programs in TAFE NSW for people returning to study.
It provides a pathway for people to develop skills and competencies required for work and further study.
You will study 6502AA Language and Learning Skills A, and 4974Z Learning Awareness in your core studies. Elective modules include general education and vocational modules.
Articulation: When you finish this course you can apply to do higher level modules in the Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (91178NSW).
Entry Requirements: NSW School Certificate (or equivalent - for example, completion of the TAFE NSW Certificate II in General and Vocational Education (CGVE) (90279NSW).

Campuses:
Coffs Harbour Education Campus (CHEC) - This course is the equivalent to Semester 1 of 91178NSW Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation TAFE NSW Course no: 6502.
Full-time, 20 hours per week for 18 weeks, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. Starting 9th February 2009.
You should attend the Information Session on Thursday 29 January 2009, 9.30am, Room BG.8. You will also need to attend an interview and complete a Maths and English test before you can enrol in this course.
