This course helps you improve your reading, writing and mathematics for your job, for further study, or for personal reasons.
You may also be able to develop some computer literacy skills depending on electives selected.
Career Opportunities: This qualification helps you develop reading, writing and maths skills for work and further study.
Articulation: There is no formal articulation to other vocational education and training courses. However, the course may provide you with the language, literacy and numeracy skills to meet the entry requirements for a wide range of general education and vocational courses, such as 90757NSW Certificate I in Foundation and Vocational Education, Statements of Attainment in Foundation and Vocational Education, 90190NSW Certificate II in Career Education and Employment for Women and 90279NSW Certificate II in General and Vocational Education.
Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements for this course. Students must be able to speak English well enough to communicate with teachers and other students.
