Qualification: Certificate II (AQF)
TAFE NSW Course No: 6545

This course is for adults from language backgrounds other than English who have limited English. The course is designed for students with a minimum English language proficiency of International Second Language Proficiency Ratings (ISLPR)1, or International English Language Testing System (IELTS)3. This will help you participate in the Australian community, progress in your job or do further study. Before you enrol in this course you need to have an interview. The interview will help to make sure this is the right course for you, in terms of your current English language skills and your future goals. Please contact your campus about this before you enrol.

Career Opportunities: Students who successfully complete this course will have developed the English language skills to help them access further vocational education, employment or community participation.

Articulation: Students who successfully complete this course may be eligible to enrol in the 91342NSW Certificate III in English for Further Study TAFE NSW Course no 4194, the 91124NSW Certificate III in English for Employment TAFE NSW Course no 4888 or the 91127NSW Certificate III in English for Vocational Purposes TAFE NSW Course no 11211.
