This course is for people who wish to access employment, education and training to:

- develop communication skills for accessing and maintaining employment
- gain skills to retrain or enter the workforce with vocational competencies
- prepare for further education and training.
You can successfully achieve the course outcomes by participating in education and training through one or more of the following: attending classes, distance or on-line learning, workshops, workplace and community based activities.

This course will also provide the underpinning knowledge and skills for entry into qualifications in a range of industry areas, depending on electives selected.
Entry Requirements: Must be able to read, comprehend and discuss printed familiar information in English and write simple statements in English. Must have completed a Certificate II level course in vocational/technical/general educational training or equivalent with supporting evidence or have work experience that includes specific job training.
