This course is designed for people who want to pursue a career in information and communications technology (ICT) with a focus on designing, developing and implementing a website.

You will learn to undertake the role of a senior ICT professional with responsibilities spanning design, development, site performance, database integration through to implementation and acceptance testing. This role includes the integration of internal business systems with a browser interface, designing the processes and architecture of an enterprise's internet presence, aligning the client's web presence with its business strategy and specifying e business application system requirements.

Articulation: This course provides a pathway to achievement of competencies required to receive the ICA50605 Diploma of Information Technology - Website Development as defined in the nationally endorsed Information and Communications Technology Training Package ICA05. When you finish this course you may be eligible to do ICA50605 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology or a related university course.

Entry Requirements: NSW Higher School Certificate (or equivalent) or a Certificate IV in Information Technology in a relevant discipline.
