This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to become competent in examining existing IT systems and designing or modifying them to suit changing user needs.
You will develop skills in determining client business needs, determining and using appropriate development methodologies and developing detailed technical designs. You will also identify physical database requirements, build databases and use structured query languages (SQL) to develop database structures and manipulate data. Graduates at this level would most likely work as part of a project team.

Articulation: This course provides a pathway to achievement of competencies required to receive ICA40705 Certificate IV in Information Technology (System Analysis and Design).
