Qualification: Certificate IV (AQF)

This course is for people who want to secure employment working with a growing range of digital media applications across the commercial, entertainment, education, arts, music and IT industries.

You will develop the range of creative, technical and interpersonal skills applicable to such vocations as animator, digital video editor, graphic and installation artist, and game and web designer.

Articulation: When you finish this course you may continue your studies in the 91003NSW Diploma of Digital Media, TAFE Course No: 7873.

Career Opportunities: Assistant computer animator, assistant multimedia programmer, assistant web page designer, assistant instructional designer.

Entry Requirements: Completion of Year 12 with a minimum of 10 units in the NSW HSC Record of Achievement (or equivalent statement from another educational authority).

1. Relevance of the course to further learning and career plans
2. Previous education and training including courses and subject undertaken at school, TAFE, industry, university, adult and community education or elsewhere
3. Relevant workplace and life experience, including part-time, casual or voluntary work or life experience
