This course is for electronic trade apprentices and trainees working in the communications sector of the electronics industry who want to become electronics tradespersons.

You will learn how to install, commission, maintain and carry out maintenance on equipment used for the transmission and reception of voice, image and data signals in either broadcast, microwave or satellite specialisations.

Career Opportunities: Electronic communications tradesperson.

Articulation: When you finish this course you will be eligible to do the UTE40302 Certificate IV in Electrotechnology Communications, TAFE course no: 0430 or a 91027NSW Diploma of Electrical Engineering.

Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements to this course. Must be in relevant employment.
