This course is for apprentices who work in a drawing office. You will learn manual and CAD drafting techniques. The course has electives to suit a broad range of industry drafting requirements including electrical, mechanical and structural. Local campus arrangements may limit the elective module range.

Career Opportunities: Draftsperson in a range of areas such as manufacturing, engineering and associated enterprises, contract drawing offices, councils and government departments.

Articulation: When you finish this course you can apply for entry into several TAFE courses at Diploma level. Some completed modules in this course may provide TAFE NSW credit transfer in a higher level course. This would need to be checked upon enrolment into the higher level course.
