This course is for people wishing to become an Electronic Trade Worker. This qualification provides competencies to select, assemble, set up and maintain electronic devices following prescribed routine.

Entry Requirements: Learners must either be in relevant employment or have access to appropriate workplace environments to achieve the completion requirements of this course. There are no formal educational requirements for entry to this course, however the Electrotechnology Training Package states that a prospective learner's general education and competency level should be equivalent to the outcome of four to five years of secondary school.
