This course is for people who work or who want to work in manufacturing or engineering organisations. The range of electives allows you to choose a mix of modules to suit jobs in a wide variety of manufacturing and service industries. You can acquire skills in the operation of production equipment, the testing of finished products, simple trade skills, effective communication and supervision, quality control, production control and automation techniques. Your campus can help you choose the available modules most appropriate to your needs.

Career Opportunities: Supervisor or frontline manager in a manufacturing industry.

Articulation: When you finish this course you may be eligible to do other engineering courses at advanced diploma level and other training programs in manufacturing and engineering.

Entry Requirements: Satisfactory completion of Year 12 with a minimum of 10 HSC units (or equivalent statement from another educational authority), or must have an Engineering Certificate III qualification.
