Safety Checking Electrical Appliances

This course is for people seeking work in the inspection, testing and tagging of single phase, low voltage portable electrical appliances.

You will learn how to inspect, test and tag single phase, low voltage portable electrical appliances using a portable appliance tester (PAT), to Australian Standard AS/NZS 3760.

Articulation: When you finish this course you can apply for advanced standing in other courses with common modules, provided you have met the entry requirements.

Applying and Enrolling

This course will be offered commercially on a fee-for-service basis. Course commencement is subject to sufficient demand and usually runs at most locations continuously throughout the year.
