This course provides you with the skills and knowledge needed to work under supervision as a skilled operator or assistant to a tradesperson in the horticulture industry. You complete a range of general horticulture modules and may choose electives from a range of industry specific modules.

Career Opportunities: Horticulture assistant, landscaping assistant, parks and gardens assistant, arboriculture assistant, floriculture assistant, retail and/or wholesale nursery assistant.

Articulation: When you finish this course you can apply for advanced standing in RTF30103 Certificate III in Horticulture, TAFE course no: 1586.
