This course is for people in the production horticulture industry with some expertise who wish to develop advanced technical and production skills in the production horticulture industry. It also provides the underpinning knowledge required to apply these skills in the workplace.

You will learn how to organise and co-ordinate procedures in the production horticulture industry as well as learning technical skills that a senior employee/supervisor on a production horticulture is expected to possess. You will also be able to implement and monitor occupational health, safe working practices and quality assurance practices to industry standards.

This course is suitable for owners of production horticulture enterprises who wish to enhance their technical and supervisory knowledge and skills.

Career Opportunities: Farm overseer, farm foreman, farm supervisor.

Entry Requirements: NSW School Certificate (or equivalent statement from another educational authority) and relevant experience, or completion of RTE30103 Certificate III in Agriculture or RTE31603 Certificate III in Production Horticulture, or equivalent, or relevant workplace or other appropriate experience.
