This course is for people in rural industries with no expertise but who want to develop basic technical and husbandry skills in the beef production industry. It also provides the underpinning knowledge required to apply these skills in the workplace. You will learn how to work effectively in the beef industry and will acquire the basic technical skills that will allow you to be employed as a supervised worker in the industry.
Career Opportunities: Beef property worker.
Articulation: When you finish this course you may be able to apply for advanced standing in RTE30103 Certificate III in Agriculture (TAFE NSW Course no 0797) and RTE30203 Certificate III in Agriculture (Beef Production) (TAFE NSW Course no 0784).
Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements for this course. Relevant workplace or other appropriate experience may be considered.
