The course provides training for people who want to become a skilled and competent florist. You will learn how to produce a range of floral products and operate the equipment that is found in a florist shop.
You will learn how to care for floristry stock and merchandise, prepare and display floristry stock, assemble and prepare floristry products, create floristry designs using hand tied and wiring techniques and a base medium, and provide service to the wide range of customers that buy floristry products. You will also learn how to apply the retail competencies you have achieved to a floristry outlet.
