This course is for people in the rural industry with some expertise who wish to develop advanced technical and husbandry skills. It also provides the underpinning knowledge required to apply these skills in the workplace.

You will learn how to organise and coordinate the procedures that employees in the rural industries must carry out as well as learning technical skills that a senior employee on a rural enterprise should possess. You will also be able to apply occupational health, safe working practices and quality assurance practices to industry standards.

This course is also suitable for owners of rural operations who wish to enhance their technical knowledge and skills. It is also suitable for people with some expertise who wish to enter the rural industry.

Career Opportunities: Senior agriculture property worker.

Articulation: When you finish this course you may be able to apply for advanced standing in RTE40103 Certificiate IV in Agriculture, TAFE course no: 2483 (including specialisations).

Entry Requirements: NSW School Certificate (or equivalent statement from another educational authority) and relevant experience, or completion of Certificate II in Agriculture or equivalent, or relevant workplace or other appropriate
