This course covers managing persistent chemicals, minimising the risk of using chemicals, planning and implementing a chemical use program and implementing OH & S.

Entry Requirements: Learners must have completed the units RTC3704A Prepare and Apply Chemicals, RTC3705A Transport, Handle and Store Chemicals, RTC2701A Follow OHS Procedures and NSWTHAZA301A Minimise Residues in Product before commencing this course.

Learners must have language, literacy and numeracy skills that enable them to satisfy elements and legislative requirements for reading and understanding chemical labels and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

This course will be offered commercially on a fee-for-service basis. Course commencement is subject to sufficient demand and usually runs at most locations continuously throughout the year.
