This course is for people who want to work as retail cosmetic assistants. You will learn about the fundamentals of retail operations as they apply to selling skin care products and cosmetics. You will also learn how to demonstrate the use of a range of retail cosmetic products. You must complete all required units to receive the qualification. You may be able to do single units to suit your particular needs.

Articulation: When you finish this course you can get advanced standing in other Beauty Training Package qualifications, such as WRB20204 Certificate II in Make-up Services, WRB20104 Certificate II in Nail Technology, WRB30104 Certificate III in Nail Technology, WRB30104 Certificate III in Beauty Services, WRB40104 Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy, as well as Retail Training Package qualification WRR20102 Certificate II in Retail Operations.

Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements for this course.

D1 Relevance of course to your career plans and goals (Part D in application form - up to 15 points);
D2 Knowledge of the career area (up to 15 points).
Other factors relating to any previous disadvantages that may be taken into account in the selection process (Part E in application form - up to 10 points).
