This course is for qualified beauty therapists. You will acquire advanced beauty skills, including aesthetic aromatherapy, use of essential oils, epilation and make-up for photography.
You may choose from electives in the specialist beauty, workplace training and assessment or small business management areas. You must complete all core modules plus ten elective competency units to receive the qualification.
In some circumstances students may be required to undertake a criminal records check or a Working with Children Check. People considering enrolment in beauty courses need to be aware that skills development for clinical work will require students to practice on each other and that industry dress codes will apply. This will necessarily involve touch but will always be practised and applied in accordance with industry codes of practice and ethics. Details will be provided to enrolled students by the teacher.

Articulation: You may be eligible for advanced standing in this course, depending on your workplace training and assessment and/or modules completed in other small business management courses.
