This course is for people who want to gain employment as a hairdressing salon assistant or hairdressing receptionist. It will also help you gain employment as a hairdressing apprentice. The course provides you with an overview of the hairdressing industry. You will also acquire some practical skills in hairdressing. As part of the course you will be required to complete one week of work in a hairdressing salon.
Career Opportunities: Apprentice hairdresser, salon assistant or hairdressing receptionist.
Articulation: When you finish this course you can apply for advanced standing in the WRH30106 Certificate III in Hairdressing TAFE NSW Course no 17385.
