This course is for people undergoing post entry-level training in the beauty industry who want to upgrade their skills relating to fundamental beauty services, in order to effectively and efficiently operate in the commercial environment.

In some circumstances students may be required to undertake a criminal records check or a Working with Children Check.

People considering enrolment in beauty courses need to be aware that skills development for clinical work will require students to practise on each other and that industry dress codes will apply. This will necessarily involve touch but will always be practised and applied in accordance with industry codes of practice and ethics. Details will be provided to intending students during pre-enrolment "Information Sessions" or to enrolled students by the teacher.

Career Opportunities: Beauty salon operator.

Articulation: This course articulates into any Beauty Training Package (WRB04) qualification which contains the relevant unit of competency.

Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements for this course.

Campuses:

Coffs Harbour Education Campus - there are two options available, each with a separate course fee:

Option 1: Provide Manicure & Pedicure Services (module 17352A) and Apply Nail Science to Nail Services (module 17352E) offered together for one price.
Classes will be held 9am to 2.30pm  for 7 weeks. In addition to the course cost you will need to purchase a kit for approximately $235.

Option 2: Provide Lash and Brow Treatments (module 17354C) over 12 hours.

Applying and Enrolling:

This course will be offered commercially on a fee-for-service basis. Course commencement is subject to sufficient demand.
