This course combines learning in the classroom with learning in the workplace. You will learn about controlling stock and loss prevention, merchandising, selling products and services, customer service, product knowledge to a range of pharmacy products and services, point of sale systems, communication and team work.

Career Opportunities: Trainee supervisor in sales, customer service and administration roles in various types of retail stores.

Articulation: When you finish this course you may be eligible to do a number of TAFE NSW courses, such as WRP30102 Certificate III in Community Pharmacy, TAFE course no: 3396, WRP30202 Certificate III in Retail Operations, WRP40102 Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy, TAFE course no: 3397, WRR40102 Certificate IV in Retail Management, TAFE course no: 9941 and WRR50102 Diploma of Retail Management, TAFE course no: 9942.
