This is a course which combines learning in the classroom with learning in the workplace.
You will learn about controlling stock and loss prevention, product knowledge, communication and team work, building relationships with customers, providing specialised health care advice, assisting in dispensary operations, co-ordinating staff and retail finance duties.
Career Opportunities: Senior positions in sales, customer service and administration in various types of pharmacy and general retail stores.
Articulation: When you finish this course you will be eligible to do a number of TAFE NSW courses, such as WRR30102 Certificate III in Retail Operations, TAFE course no: 9939, WRR40102 Certificate IV in Retail Management, TAFE course no: 9941 and WRR50102 Diploma of Retail Management, TAFE course no: 9942 and WRP40102 Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy, TAFE course no: 3397.
Entry Requirements: Satisfactory completion of the core of the Certificate II in Community Pharmacy.
