This course is for unqualified cooks who want to develop the skills, knowledge and work-related values required by a cook or chef working in a commercial or industrial kitchen. The course covers the required Hospitality Training Package units of competency in a compact and accelerated manner, leading to the Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery).
Articulation: When you finish this course you may apply for the Craft Certificate from the Vocational Training Board. You may also be eligible to do a range of Certificate IV courses in Hospitality.
Entry Requirements: Must have at least five years' relevant and current work experience in a commercial kitchen.
