This short course is for people who want to start work in the food and beverage industry, or for people who want to update or refresh their skills. You will learn about bar work and wine service, responsible service of alcohol, bistro, function and dining room procedures.
Articulation: When you finish this course you can apply for advanced standing in the Certificate IV in Hospitality (Supervision) (THH42602), TAFE course no: 9544.
Career Opportunities: Food and beverage attendant.
Entry Requirements: The NSW Liquor Act and the NSW Gaming Machines Act require students to be 18 years of age or older if they are undertaking modules that involve the service of alcohol and gaming operations.
