This course is for people who want the skills, knowledge and attitudes to perform basic bar and drinks service.
You will learn about the legal obligations of bar staff as well as customer relations skills, cash handling, and practical bar and beverage service skills.
Career Opportunities: Bar attendant.
Articulation: With an additional 6 hours of study you can get Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment 6650. When you finish the course you will be eligible for advanced standing in Hospitality (Operations) Certificate II 4591.
Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements for this course. Must be 18 years or older to comply with the NSW Liquor Act, to enrol in modules involving the service of alcoholic beverages.
