We can help you …Access funding

Did you know that your business may be entitled to government funding of up to $4000 per eligible employee for training in the following courses?

BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management
BSB40507 Certificate IV in Business Administration

This is a special offer provided by North Coast TAFE to support local businesses...

The North Coast TAFE difference:
North Coast TAFE is a highly recommended, award-wining and quality local provider with expert trainers who can deliver the training at your workplace and customised to meet your specific needs.

North Coast TAFE also helps you choose elective units that match your staff and business needs, rather than lock you into a set course structure that takes your staff away from the workplace.

How much funding is available for my business?
The Australian Government will fund $4,000 to employers for each eligible employee, both new and existing. The funding is paid directly to the employer organisation.

If you partner with North Coast TAFE for your training needs in the above programs, you pay $3500* for the training, which gives your business a $500 cash-back when you receive the government funding to cover the cost of the training for each employee.

Why is the Government doing this?
The government has recognised the importance of managers and supervisors in ensuring high productivity, efficiencies and competitiveness for Australian Businesses. It is important for business to take advantage of this offer and upskill managers, supervisors, sales and administration teams.

This is Government initiative, with the availability timeframe for accessing funding short. Contact North Coast TAFE today to start now!

You can undertake your chosen course from your workplace! There is not need to attend face to face classes or go to a TAFE campus. North Coast TAFE delivers these qualifications online and flexibly throughout the region, from the Great Lakes in the south, to the Tweed border in the North.

When
You can start anytime! North Coast TAFE enrols throughout the year.

Eligibility
Some of the main criteria for funding a traineeship are an employee’s:

- Citizenship Status
The worker must be either an Australian citizen, permanent resident or New Zealand citizen who has been resident in Australia for at least six months.

- Prior Qualifications
Usually funding is only available when ‘up-skilling' is happening within the company. For example, if an employee has previously attended training in a similar area funding is unlikely to be available for this training. Only nationally recognised qualifications are considered as prior qualifications.

- Company
Funding is available for registered Australian companies that hold an ABN. Federal Government departments are not eligible for funding. The owner of a business is not eligible for traineeship funding.
